About the event
Refugia Festival is an innovative event series that combines the performing arts with educational workshops and stewardship to advocate for environmental conservation through sound. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, October 4th, in Nichols Arboretum. Refugia Festival 2026 features mainstage presentations by regional artists, ensembles, and educators, along with a community-curated arts gallery, an interactive tabling area to connect with local community organizations, a stewardship activity, and more!

Refugia Festival is an outdoor, open-air event. While it is advertised as "rain or shine," Refugia Festival reserves the right to cancel the event if there is severe, inclement weather.
