About the event
Refugia Festival is an innovative event series that combines music performances with educational workshops and community service to advocate for environmental conservation through sound. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, September 28th, in Nichols Arboretum. Refugia Festival 2025 features mainstage presentations by regional artists, ensembles, and educators, along with a community-curated arts gallery, an interactive tabling area to connect with local community organizations, the unveiling of a new Soundscape Meters installation, a stewardship activity, and more!

Refugia Festival is an outdoor, open-air event. While it is advertised as "rain or shine," Refugia Festival reserves the right to cancel the event if there is severe, inclement weather. Refund policies will apply if that happens (but let's hope for sun!). Camping chairs…
